Community Outreach

New to Fall 2023, we have teamed up with seven (7) prominent dental offices as our chosen partners for a county-wide food drive to benefit families who rely on donations to help feed their families.

Candy for Cans will start October 22, 2023 with our dental partners serving as community collection points for patients and members of their local communities. Starting October 22 through November 3rd, our partners will contribute one canned/boxed food item per pound of candy, including Halloween Candy that they collect.  Then, our offices will switch gears and focus on food items until November 21st, when the drive will close in time for Thanksgiving.  

 

Every week, we will visit our partner offices to count and collect donations for the Loudoun Hunger Relief. 

 

Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR) serves over 600 families each week in Loudoun County, Virginia  and supplies tens of thousands of pounds of food to individuals each year.

 

Like any food bank, LHR needs help in keeping its supplies high especially during the holidays. We were surprised to learn that Thanksgiving is a time of great concern.

The office with the most team spirit and collections (counted per item collected) will win a team-building day at Top Golf, courtesy of The Gillis Firm and our event sponsor. 

 

By supporting this cause, our dental partners are directly contributing to the well-being of their neighbors and our community during a special time where food is essential to gratefulness and gatherings.
