Natasha Gillis, Esq.

As a Northern Virginia native, Natasha graduated from George Mason University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics, concentrating on Political Theory and Law and minoring in English Non-Fiction Writing and Editing in 2006. Upon graduating, she attended Howard University School of Law where she served as a student attorney in the Civil Rights Clinic and obtained her Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) in 2009.  

 

Natasha spent two years working with the Howard University School of Law Civil Rights Clinic where she provided pro bono services as a student attorney to represent plaintiffs whose civil rights were jeopardized.  It was during this time that the healthcare industry first sparked her interest. She advocated for a skilled African American obstetrician who was prevented from delivering a baby in a local hospital exclusively due to his race. Coming from a background of small business owners, Natasha graduated law school with a passion for helping doctors of all races and backgrounds achieve the ultimate goal of practice ownership.

 

Natasha frequently speaks at seminars including:

 

• The 2018 Small Business Conference hosted by the George Mason Enterprise Center 

• Virginia Dental Association: reoccurring panelist from 2019-2022.

• Guest lecturer (Summer 2021 & Summer 2022) at the Practice Management class at VCU School of Dentistry 

• Academy of General Dentistry (Virginia): Mentorship Program (creator of an 8 week virtual dental practice business planning course)

• 2021 Chesapeake Conference (Maryland State Dental Association)  

• 2022 Maryland State Dental Association: strategies to re-energize your office and associate contract tips/tricks 

• 2022-2025 Dental Business Growth Conference Series at the prestigious Army Navy Country Club

 

During her free time, Natasha enjoys hiking, jogging, and exploring the outdoors with her husband, two children, and poodle-mix, Bella.
